Feelin the new one and hulking out

Norm and I got to go on two dates this week...yippee! One to see Inglorious Bastards-- a fine film-- where I felt the baby kick for the first time. Pretty exciting at only 14 weeks...I have felt it move a few times since then. The next date was to see Norm speak on a panel at Chapman for the new incoming students in the film school...so wonderful to see him come full circle. Norm graduated with his MFA as the most produced screenwriter the school has had. Well done!

Another fun thing this week is that Charlee is starting to "Hulk out" just like Norm used to when he was little. She flexes her arms and grits her teeth and turns beet red. We are trying to get a picture/video of it but she wants the camera everytime she sees it. I will post one soon. Hope all is well with you!

Baby Baby #2

Bath!

Charlee has a new word..."Bath!" She loves taking baths and we asked her if she wanted to take one and she started to say the word over and over...so cute! Anya and Pops are still in the UK currently in Ireland and soon off to Scotland. We have had the chance to speak to them several times which has been awesome. The Clymers are amazing at updating their pictures so we can see them as they are travelling...here is a pic of Anya and Pops on top of Conwy Tower in England. We miss and love you!

Pip, Pip, Cherrio!

Anya and Pops headed off to the British Isles yesterday-- England, Ireland, Scotland and Whales-- for a few weeks of fun. We miss them already and hope they have the best time! If you are reading this...drink a spot of tea and say hello to the Queen for us! xoxo

Fun with Daddy

Friday's are Daddy and me day for Charlee. As you can tell they have a blast together! Here are some Charlee updates: currently cutting 4 molars...ouch! Due to the teething we are in a bit of a biting phase...double ouch! She loves to take anyone's temperature with her ear thermometer...even Girdie's! "I love you" has become a favorite phrase, she wants to be held inside and won't let you pick her up outside, her love of water has reached an epic level...I swear Noah is going to come build an arc in our house soon, and she is growing a small amount of hair! Love to you all!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone! We were lucky enough to have Jenny, Jim and Gracie for Friday and Saturday morning...the girls got all dressed up in their star-spangled gear courtesy of Anya. After they left on Saturday we went over to the Sun and Sail Club courtesy of the Koppe's for a fantastic day! Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality! 29 and feelin fine!

We decided to celebrate my first annual 29th birthday a day early with Anya and Pops. We had my favorites...chicken and dumplings and mayonnaise cake! Granny Fanny would be proud! Thanks for making it such a special birthday eve...xoxo
