To My Dear and Loving Husband

This blog historically talks all about Charlee Marie but I felt it appropriate to write a note about my amazing hubby who proposed six years ago on Valentines day...without his wonderfully romantic proposal we would not have such an incredible little family today. Happy Valentines Day!

We have had a fabulous first Valentines Day with Charlee Marie. Anya and Pops came over for a Valentines Fiesta and Charlee loved every minute. We read books, played with balloons, rode on the Tigger toy and gave countless hugs and kisses. We are so in love with our baby girl.

~Love is in the Air~

Love is in the air this morning at the Leonard household-- Charlee let us sleep in until 8 and then gave Norm and I hug after hug when she woke up...she woke up in a fabulous mood. We started the morning off watching her favorite show- Sesame Street! She is in love with the song in the beginning and dances and sings when it comes on...I caught a bit of it this morning for your viewing pleasure. We are so in love with Charlee! Happy Valentines Day all!

Ten Months, Ballons and a Tooth!

We had a big weekend! Charlee turned ten months old on the 7th...hard to believe how fast the time has gone. She got her first tooth last week...finally! You can see it peeking through in the first picture below. We went to Julia Ibarra's shower on Saturday and had a wonderful time. Charlee went wild for the balloons...thanks Anya! She was SO excited about it and was screaming with joy...as evidenced by the pictures below. We continue to fall more and more in love with our baby girl every minute of every day...how did we live without her?

Happy Birthday Anya!

Happy Birthday Anya! We had a great time last week celebrating with Anya...we ate Wahoo's, Skyped with the Marshalls and ate delicious lemon cake. You can see that Charlee was very excited about the cake and stuck her hand in it just to show her enthusiasm. She loves taking books out of book shelves...Anya says she is just learning to organize!

Growing, growing, growing!

Charlee is growing like a weed and just loves to stand and walk around the furniture. She has started "surfing" where she tries to stand on her own...we are sure that walking is not far off! Her favorite words (and only ones) are Dada, Hi and occasionally Mama. She is also still an expert waver :o)
