Here are the ultrasound pictures from yesterday. Unfortunately the baby is so low we could not get a good picture of his face but we got a good one of his manly parts :)

BOY!

We are so thrilled to welcome a baby boy to our family! Our faces nearly dropped when they showed us our little man's manly parts...Norm made the ultrasound tech check several times and the parts are definitely there! Pops cannot believe that we have broken the girl cycle in our family...finally a boy to play baseball with :)

Anya and Pops came with us to the big event and brought some adorable little baby boy shoes just in case....yea!

In honor of my son on the way I had to have a chili cheese hot dog for dinner...what could be more manly than that??

Wanna get out!

Charlee is starting to put words together into little sentences...so exciting! Unfortunately most of the sentences she comes up with are expressing her distaste for something. Last night we went on a long walk and she did not want to be in the stroller anymore. She kept looking up at us and saying, "Wanna get out!" We couldn't believe that she actually put that all together. She did not "get out" until we got home but we were really proud of her nonetheless!

Anya's School!

Charlee and I had a great time this morning visiting Anya for VIP day at her school. Charlee had an absolute blast playing with all of the exciting items in the classroom (now a luxury suite from its former condo size) and visiting with the kids. We also had a great time seeing many teacher friends and meeting my mom's new fabulous principal Leeza.

Happy Birthday Norm!

Norm celebrated his 31st birthday in style last weekend. We went to the Melting Pot with Brian and Christy on Friday night and had a BLAST! Sally came to babysit so that we could go out...thank you! Then off to Larrs' birthday on Saturday and finally a celebration with Anya and Pops on Sunday night. You can tell by the pictures it was a fun filled weekend! There is an extra special birthday treat at the end of this post :)German Chocolate Cake...mmmmmm

Happy Birthday Larrs and the Slide

We had a great time on Saturday enjoying a party in Simi for Larrs' 30th birthday party! It was a fabulous party filled with family, a pool, a taco cart(says the pregnant lady :)) and a plastic slide. Charlee had a fabulous time in the pool with daddy and spending about 30 minutes going up and down a plastic slide...who knew that could be such entertainment?? Watching Gracie

Charlee LOVES watching Gracie's video clips on the Marshall blog. She sits in my lap and wants to watch them over and over. The first clip is her watching Gracie and the second clip is Charlee asking by using her new fav word, "Please" to watch it again and again :)
